The Twinz Room
The Twinz room is named after my mom’s twin sisters, Patty and Florence. This room has views of the bay and in a distance the Atlantic ocean. The room is spacious and has a king size bed as well as an antique twin.
The decor of this room is, in my terms, “funky old”. A term invented by the owner which describes the vintage decor of beach decor combined with modern conveniences.
The antique twin bed is an old restored metal bed covered with a chenille bedspread and ticking as well as stenciled pillows. Black and white pictures of the twins in the 1940’s as well as the 1920,s complement the theme.
Baby picture of the twin girls are in a sepia photo. Both girls are babies dressed in white linen frocks and pearl necklaces. The beach decor links the black and white photo of the twins in bathing suits in the 1940’s. Guests comment on how beautiful these women are and how they have pictures of their families similar to the photos of the twins.
Josephine’s owner’s grandfather had a tough time keeping the suitors in line for his eight daughters!!!
Bath decor has new funky hooks and vintage mirrors and boat plaques and pictures.
The fee for the room includes a third person. Bath is en suite and there is a shower stall.
Weekends require a two night stay but at times may be available for one night because of weekly overlap.
A $100 deposit by credit card (via PayPal) or your PayPal account is required.
